Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Version 15 Offers Enhanced Usability & New Instant Messaging Tool
New autofill & pop-up calculator, enhanced zoom & date entry, plus eNote instant messaging in PracticeMaster.
Today Software Technology, Inc. (STI), announced the release of Version 15 of its popular billing, practice management and financial software products. Version 15 includes many new features which build on the strong tradition of ease of use that Tabs3 and PracticeMaster are known for. New ease of use features include autofill ability, enhanced zoom functionality, flexible date entry options, and a new popup calculator. Additionally, eNote is an innovative intra-office instant messaging system available in the Client Server Version of PracticeMaster Premier.
“The ease of use features in Version 15 of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster were designed entirely with the legal professional's time and workflow in mind,” said Dan Berlin, President of Software Technology, Inc. “By watching our clients at work, we were able to identify ways to make their daily tasks even easier,” added Berlin.
The new autofill feature offers autocompletion capabilities in all lookup fields in Tabs3 and PracticeMaster. While you type in a lookup field, the software will automatically complete the remainder of the field based on the information entered. In addition, enhanced zoom functionality using your keyboard and the scroll function on your mouse has been implemented in Preview Windows. Flexible date entry options allow you to enter a date without specifying a year, as well as offer you the ability to enter a date according to the format you want. A new popup calculator lets you to perform basic math in all numeric fields in Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software.
Client Server Version 15 of PracticeMaster Premier offers a new messaging and collaboration tool called eNote. eNote is an intra-office messaging system that combines the best features of e-mail and instant messaging to provide an easy-to-use tool that enhances a firm's current case management procedures and helps you communicate with someone without waiting for them to read your e-mail message. eNote is often superior to e-mail, especially when you want to reach someone urgently and when you want to communicate about information in PracticeMaster. For example, from within an eNote message you can link to almost any record in PracticeMaster.
